The memorial service celebrating the life of Dreamer Saltzman of Wadena will be held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, April 27, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wadena, with Pastor Jim Stoneman presiding. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. On April 9, 2024, Dreamer went to join our Lord & Savior in heaven. Dreamer was raised in Wadena by her loving grandparents, Terry and Mary (Severin) Lynk. She attended Verndale and Wadena-Deer Creek schools where she was involved in volleyball and track & field, receiving awards in field events of discus and shotput. Dreamer had a long list of activities she enjoyed including hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, spending time with family and friends, going to the lake with her dog Pearl, playing pool, and posting on social media. Best known for her contagious smile, her larger-than-life personality, her laugh, jokes, and huge heart makes her unforgettable. Dreamer was a natural at her job as a personal care assistant at an assisted living facility. She attended, was baptized, and confirmed through the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wadena. She found great strength through her faith and each year she looked forward to helping the ladies at the annual Christmas bazaar. She always found it rewarding to help others. Preceding Dreamer in death were her father Jon Lynk, and three great-grandparents. With memories etched in the hearts of those who loved her, Dreamer will be missed deeply by her grandparents, Terry and Mary; great-grandma, Ruby Lynk; birth mother Pepper Saltzman; brothers, Dayton Hammers and Hayden Lynk; sisters: Heaven, Haylee & Heather Disselbrett, Tianna Saltzman, Harley Lynk; niece, Athayna Love; bonus mom, Amber Templin; aunt Tonia Lynk; uncle Shawn (Shannon) Lynk; and her loving cousins. She also had her second family by choice: Karl & Lisa Haisman, and their children: Dylan (Cailie), Tate, Grace and Kylee. Dreamer's love for animals will contiue when memorials in her name are directed to the Wadena County Humane Society.
