June Goff

The funeral service celebrating the life of June Goff of Clarissa will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Clarissa with Pastor Allen Mortenson presiding. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. June Ione Rausch was born to Gust and Margaret (Watkins) Rausch on September 12, 1942, in Bertha, MN. She graduated from the Bertha-Hewitt High School with the Class of 1960. June married Eugene “Gene” Franklin Goff on June 13, the same year. Her days were filled with making a home for Gene and their children. Working as a purchasing aid with the many people at CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie provided hours of fulfilment. She relaxed when watching tv and was also an avid reader. June loved going on trips with Gene. A special joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. With her kind heart and bright smile she was loved by all who knew her. Preceding June in death were her husband, Gene (2001); parents, Gust and Margaret; daughter, Susan Goff; son, Bruce Goff; granddaughter, Natasha Schul; sister, Myrna (Ervin) Bergman; brothers, John (Erna) Rausch and Norman Rausch; sister-in-law, Bev Rausch and brothers-in-law, Darrel Goff, Bud Goff, Mike Johnson, Dennis Kimber. Remembering June will be her daughters, Kelly (Kirk) Larson of Burtrum and Tracy Goff of Clarissa; grandchildren: Jackie, Matthew, and Mitchel (Leslie) Goff, Nicole (Mitchell) Ross, Andrea Ahrendt, Jesse Lambrecht, Jeffrey Larson, Thomas (Trinity) Pesta, Caleb Pesta, Bergen (Averie) Pesta, Brittney Larson, Jordan (Ethan) Renn, Cody (Makenna) Hansmeyer and Trinity Goff; 17 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Judy Kimber; brother Robert Rausch; along with sisters-in-law, Vi Rausch, Betty Goff, Jeanette Goff, and Patsy (Kenny) Piepho. Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Lambrecht, Thomas Pesta, Caleb Pesta, Bergen Pesta, Cody Hansmeyer, and Dakota Goff.
