Andrew Woida Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A graveside service for Andrew Woida of Florida, and formerly of Urbank, MN, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Urbank. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the cemetery on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the graveside service. Andrew, age 80, passed away under the gentle care of hospice on August 28, 2021, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Andrew Joseph Woida was born to August and Theresia (Klemek) Woida on June 30, 1941, in Urbank, MN. Andrew served two tours of duty in the US Navy MCB128. After his discharge from the Naval Seabees, he worked as a mason. In retirement he moved to Florida where he spent the rest of his days enjoying his friends and the warm sunshine. He married Phyllis Marie Lilke Gordar on August 27, 1983, in Hennepin, MN. Preceding Andrew in death were his wife, Phyllis; parents, August and Theresia; brother, Delmer; brother-in-law, Leon Reineke; and sister-in-law, Eileen Woida. Surviving Andrew are his siblings: Jane (Chuck) Reineke, Annella Reineke, Wilfred Woida, Sister Mariterese “Theresa” Woida, and Eleanor (Bill) Jones; sister-in-law, Mary Woida; several nieces and nephews; along with brothers of MCB128. He will be missed by many. Honorary urn bearers will be his Brothers of MCB128
