Ralph Manfredi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held for Ralph Manfredi of Bertha from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Schuller Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services' Domian-Anderson Chapel in Bertha. Julius “Ralph” Manfredi, born November 8, 1929, age 92, died with his family at his side in his home in Bertha, MN, on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Ralph thought spending time with family was of the utmost importance. He was happiest when active especially when attending functions for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He accomplished much throughout his life: being promoted to corporal in the US army during the Korean Conflict, obtaining a pilot license, machining parts for the 1960’s spacecrafts, providing security services, driving trucks across the country and working at Merickel’s hardware store, are just some of these things. He was most proud of his last career working as a para-professional at the Long Prairie, MN Elementary school; saying he loved extending his family to the staff and students there, passing his knowledge on to future generations He married the love of his life Doris C. Smith on November 19, 1954, in Huntington Park, CA. Together they shared a life with 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceding Ralph in death is fathe,r Coriolano “Corey” Manfredi; mother, Conception “Concha” Ocampo; brother, Corey Manfredi; sister, Betty Espino; granddaughter, Nina Lang; great-grandson, Macsen Lang; and great-granddaughter, Autumn Hingst. Remembering Ralph will be his wife, Doris Manfredi; children: Kimberly Strickland, Tina Lang, Eric Manfredi and Tonya Patterson; eight Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; along with siblings: Annie Rossotti, Francis Harrington, Mario Manfredi, Edward Manfredi, James Manfredi, Emma Smith, Diane Terry and Doreen Kirkes.
